you know, my weeds are really easy. their vigor is to be commended. they make lovely bouquets if one is not too particular.
ferns can be tricky to condition for cut flower bouquets.
through trial and error these past few days, i have learned that immediately after snipping the stem ends at a sharp angle,
placing them in very hot water and allowing it to cool gradually to room temperature seems to keep them happy.
i don't know what this weed is, but it is growing everywhere, and has a real nice branching out habit at the top.
i have heard it said that what grows together tends to look nice together.
wild monarda and one sprig of clover were nearby.
and my daughter, daisy - she's pretty wild too. and wonderful.
