 home-grown carnations!!
these are from the chabaud giant mix of seeds from swallowtail seeds.
their clove fragrance is transporting.
with roses, lavender, sweet peas, and wild clematis.

the sprigs of blue are called marie bleu new jersey tea or ceanothus x pallidus minimari.
my dear friend, debbie, from woodbridge greenhouses gave this shrub to me for a birthday present.
it makes lovely trusses of these flowers which age to tiny ruddy-colored berry-like seed pods which are also usable in bouquets.
